Power Masking: Introducing Our New 2019 Best Mask Products!

By

Your skin is your largest organ, acting as a waterproof, insulating shield and protecting the body from everyday environmental exposures including extreme temperatures, UV rays and harmful debris and chemicals. Skin also houses a fine network of sensory nerves that connects the brain with the outside world. This makes our skin as emotional as our minds and therefore, our skin feels and shows the effects of stress, fatigue, and dehydration. This is why it’s so important to give your skin a weekly booster using masks—think of it as a moment of meditation for your complexion. With the goal of restoring wellness, we’re proud to introduce two new masks, made to clarify, balance, nourish and re-hydrate all skin types and concerns, and re-formulated versions of our existing sheet masks.

I Mask Firming Transformation Mask

Everyday stress can take its toll on our complexions. Long work hours, minimal sleep and our everyday routines can leave skin looking dull, lifeless and lackluster. This mask helps reduce the look of fatigue and stress, while working to firm, smooth and plump the appearance. A specialized oxygenating complex promotes healthy cell turnover and works to increase circulation, giving tired skin brightness and clarity. Rounded jojoba beads gently exfoliate dead skin cells and debris, hyaluronic acid binds water to create a fuller, plumper look while bentonite and kaolin clay work to draw out impurities and provide a tightening effect.

How to use: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin. Let sit for 5-15 minutes, then wet fingertips and massage mask over skin for 1 minute. Rinse with warm water. Can be used 3-5 times a week or as needed.

I Mask Purifying Probiotic Mask

Just like when we binge eat and later detox with smoothies and juices, this mask works to detox, decongest, purify, restore balance, minimize excess shine, refine texture and restore hydration.  A unique combination of clays, probiotics and antioxidant superfruits work to fortify and nourish. First, Brazilian green clay and charcoal draw out impurities, toxins, bacteria and other micro-particles from pores. Next, a yogurt-based probiotic complex helps to restore the balance of the topical microflora on the skin. Just like probiotics assist in balancing the natural flora in the intestines, balancing skin’s microflora can help to minimize the signs of aging.

Finally, a superfruit complex, made up of antioxidant rich power berries goji, acai, pomegranate and mangosteen, work to rejuvenate and brighten the appearance of damaged skin. Willowherb extract works to minimize the appearance of redness and dryness.

How to use: Apply a thick layer to clean, dry skin and let sit for 10-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Can be used 3-5 times a week or as needed.

I Mask Sheet Masks

The new generation of our existing sheet masks now have a universal shape to allow for a better fit and improved functionality. Both masks use the effective 3-D design to trap in moisture, a patented hydrogel technology that helps deliver active ingredients into the skin and a blend of botanics, peptides and mineral-rich volcanic water to boost skin and improve the look of fine lines, dehydration, dry, dull skin in just 10 minutes.  There are two types to target specific skin concerns:

Anti-Aging Hydrogel Sheet Mask

Formally known as the Biomolecular Anti-Aging Radiance Mask, the same formulation is made to soothe and cool fatigued skin, infuse skin with hydration and revive dull and depleted skin. Key ingredients include mulberry and bearberry extract to brighten, a peptide complex to firm and tighten.

Hydrating Hydrogel Sheet Mask

A reformulated version of our previous Biomolecular Hydrating Recovery Mask, dry, dehydrated, dull and sensitive skin types experience a boost of hydration. Ideal for post-treatment and post-chemical peel procedures and even post-flights to nourish moisture-depleted skin. Green tea and resveratrol, both well-known antioxidants, help keep skin looking youthful and uplifted.

How to use: Apply sheet mask to clean, dry skin, gel-side down. Hold tabs at the upper part of the        mask and remove the fabric slowly, leaving mask on place on skin. Smooth out any air bubbles with fingertips. Leave on for 5-10 minutes or until absorbed. Discard mask but do not rinse face. After discarding mask, gently massage in remaining essence into skin using sweeping motions with fingertips. Masks are for single use only.
